It’s been ages since I last posted news – with the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and half term, then school plays, the weeks have been rushing by. With just over 2 weeks to go to the start of Cambridge Open Studios, I’ve been busy painting new artworks and distributing the Cambridge Open Studios guides, posters and flyers. I volunteered to be a Local Area Distributor for the COS guides so I have been distributing boxes of guides to other artists in my local area. For reference my details are listed in the Guide on page 11 G5 Burwash Manor, and individually on page 47 111A. So pick up a guide if you haven’t already.
I will be exhibiting at The Artists’ Marquee, Burwash Manor with a group of artists from a wide range of visual disciplines. There are some familiar faces and new ones too. I am really excited about the Preview Evening on Friday 6th July from 5 – 8pm. This year Cambridge Edition is sponsoring the event. There will be a ‘posh’ raffle to win artworks donated by the exhibiting artists. All proceeds from the evening will go to Cambridge Edition’s chosen charity, the Rosie Hospital £10K Appeal. There’s plenty to do over the next few weeks and I’m looking forward to showing new works at The Artists’ Marquee.
